Random.. and sort of off topic.. okay, really.  But, I was wondering if any of you lovely girls would like to help me with a project? All it costs is a little of your time, and a single stamp. =]  

I'm doing a flat traveler for my birthday! I want her to go as far around the world as she can. if you decide to do this, this is all you need to know really.

" It's a flat traveler, basically.. But instead of having a journal that goes with her.. She'll have an online journal that you update when you have her.

I picked an online journal, this way, all your photos and adventures can be uploaded that day. . all the past 'hosts' can read what [s]he is up to, right away as well.

The adventures don't have to be anything outlandish. It can just be a normal day with you. It can help you wash the dishes if you want! lol.

You can make new clothes for the doll, if you so desire to put said doll in a winter jacket or something. The more people the merrier!

Any one at all is welcome to participate, so if you think you know of other people that would like to take part, let them know!

I have also started a facebook group, so that you may join if you wish. ONLY the person that is going to send the 'doll' to you will get your address [ besides me of course! Her journal is ISSYSTRAVELS.WORDPRESS.COM.    Once the project starts, you will be sent the address of the person you send her to after you're done with her. You will also recieve an email address that you will send your journal entry to.   You can also put that email address into your contacts in your cell phone.  If you use your cell phone to take pictures ( which, this, honestly, is the easier way to go abotu doing this.. and it makes it more of a "real time" thing.)   this is what you do: Take the picture of Issy Doll. Make a new picture message on your cell phone with the doll. Write your small journal entry in the text field of the picture message. Send it to the email I will provide. Her journal is then updated automatically with that entry!  So it's quick, simple and on the go. You can, however, do it the normal way and update the journal with your blog post and pictures from your email with the same address I will give. =] she has photos up on the facebook group  I have linked above...  And the blog should be updated in the next few days! I mailed out my secret santa package 3 weeks ago today and I am really worried about it.
I hope it hasn't gotten lost in the mail with the christmas rush. It might just be that the postal system is way busy for the holidays.

I have 6 Wanderlust postcards and 3 Anne Taintor cards available. I generally don't offer them to the first to respond because our group covers the world and not everyone is awake or online at the same time. So, I'll be selecting at random in 3-4 days, but based on your preference. If you wouldn't mind either, your name will be put in for both options!

I plan on sending them out between the holidays. Did anyone else on here ask for postcards and stamps as Christmas gifts?

i have been so busy with school work, you wouldn't believe it! jeez, its like being a real teacher! i have marking and planning and meeting and oh God. hehehe nah, i'm loving the Job which might *fingercrossed* turn a little more secure in the next few months - i have no idea what i'm doing right but its something :) YAY ME!

When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). Follow Jeanna's remarkable journey as she travels the United States by foot.

I just got this book of fairy postcards, they're really cute. The fairies look like the flowers or fruit they're cavorting around with :)

Thank you Charlotte (angelwings9) for my Secret Santa gift! The scarf and purse are absolutely lovely. I've been wanting to wear more scarves, but haven't gotten around to buying any, so it was perfect!
